Published last year, The New Social Learning
put forward a persuasive case for organisations to break from the
traditional formal classroom approach to learning, and to embrace
the learning possibilities offered by social tools.

The book was one of a few published in the last twelve months
that looked at emerging digital technologies and their impact on
learning, development and knowledge-building practices.
Eden Tree's CEO, Peter Casebow, recently spoke to co-author,
Tony Bingham President of the American Society for Training and
Development (ASTD), about the themes explored in the book and why
he still believes that social tools enable a new kind of
knowledge-building ecosystem with people at its core.
